Are you conducting sessions remotely?

All services are currently being delivered through a secure telehealth platform.

With what types of patients do you work?

I welcome clients of all ethnic and faith backgrounds, as well as those in the LGBTQ+ community. My focus is individual therapy for adults who would like help with identity and relational difficulties or with improved mental wellness. You can refer to the specific services I provide on my homepage.

Do you provide consultations?

I provide 15 minute consultations without charge as an opportunity to see if we are potentially a good match for working together, and to answer any questions before meeting. You can schedule a consultation through the patient portal.

Do you accept insurance?

I am out of network with all medical insurance providers. Some insurance plans provide out of network mental health benefits which cover a portion of the costs of therapy. You can learn if you have out of network mental health benefits, and the percentage covered, by calling your medical insurance provider. I provide a bill for reimbursement on a monthly basis.

What is your fee?

My fee is $275 per 45 minute session. I do offer a sliding scale on a case by case basis.

How do I pay for sessions?

The preferred method of payment is through the patient portal using a credit or debit card. Session fees are invoiced after each appointment and can be paid automatically through the patient portal.

What is your cancellation policy?

Sessions cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before the appointment time will not be charged a session fee. Cancelling and rescheduling of sessions can be done through the patient portal.  

How often do sessions occur?

Therapy sessions are 45 minutes long and typically occur on a weekly basis at a consistent time. Frequency and scheduling of sessions can be adjusted based on individual needs.

How do I access the patient portal?

The patient portal can be accessed directly from my website. Once we begin working together, you will receive an email invitation from me to login for the first time. Each subsequent time you access the patient portal you will use your email address to receive instant sign-in links. All communication, sharing of information and payment will occur using the patient portal to ensure security and privacy.

What is your privacy policy?

I take the security and confidentiality of your personal information seriously. The EHR system and patient portal that I use satisfies both HITRUST and HIPAA security requirements - the gold standard of security certifications in healthcare. All communication, sharing of information and payment will occur using the patient portal to ensure security and privacy.
